Inclusive Muslim Mental Health Alliance

Who We Are

Inclusive Muslim Mental Health Alliance (IMMHA) aims to build a liberatory and intersectional mental health community for anyone that identifies as Muslim, whether religiously, politically, culturally, or spiritually.

What We Do

Our work will be to build an inclusive space rooted in Islamic principles of compassion and empathy. We hope to provide support and a platform towards the aim of radical healing for the sake of ourselves, our families and our futures.

Our Offerings to the Community

  • A consolidation of inclusive directories for Muslims in North America (Turtle Island) and the diaspora.

  • Inclusive virtual support groups, workshops and toolkits for the Muslim community and clinicians.

  • Collaborations with other allied BIPOC and diasporic communities to strengthen and enhance the Muslim mental health network.

  • In alignment with our intention to be inclusive and collaborative, we have formal strategic partnerships with Muslim ARC at this time. This partnership includes mutual consultation and collaboration on relevant projects and events. We are committed to continuing to grow partnerships with other like-minded organizations, including those serving diverse cultural and community backgrounds.

  • If you would like to suggest an organization we should collaborate with, please email us.

*If you or someone you know are in need of immediate support, please do not use this website or social media account for care.  Here is a list of alternatives to calling the police from our trusted colleagues at Inclusive Therapists (warm lines): https://www.inclusivetherapists.com/crisis.
